Gulu Solid Waste Collectors
Provides waste management services, and recycles plastics into building materials.
Team Charcoal Briquettes
Manufactures charcoal briquettes from agricultural waste, reducing deforestation.
Tastylicious
Creates a nutritious porridge flour with ingredients sourced from local farmers.
Geal Forestry
Grows tree seedlings and ornamental plants to combat deforestation.
Letasi Oils
Employs young women and girls to produce organic sesame oil.

Billian Ojiwa
Founder of Ficha Uchi, Billions Music and Youth Congress Chairman
Ficha Uchi works with community tailors to provide decent school uniforms to primary school students from underprivileged backgrounds. Billian Music is a CBO supporting children, youth, women with disabilities to develop their artistic talents.
Billian was recognized by The German TV ZDF and the Ministry of Health as COVID hero for interventions in the community to cushion the people from the negative impact of the virus.
Billian has served as the National Youth Congress chairman and is a Mandela Washington Fellow, and Austrian Leadership Program Alumni.
Gloria Katusiime
CEO and CO-Founder of Endiro Coffee
Gloria Katusiime is the CEO of Endiro Coffee. “My motivation is to see the lives of young people transformed. Everything we do is for that end”.
Endiro Coffee is a tree to cup coffee enterprise established in 2011 with an aim to end child vulnerability through the utilization of coffee and its related products, profits, services, and spaces. As of 2021; Endiro consists of ten store locations in Kampala and Eastern Uganda as well as a coffee shop and roastery located in the Chicago-area (USA).
Lilian Kiplagat
Program Director at Sama
Lilian is a business professional with over 13 years’ expertise in the fields of Technology Operations, Strategy, Innovation and Finance. Her leadership experience comprises; Director strategy at Cranford Consulting Ltd, Head of Operations at Mobile Financial Solutions (MFS) Ltd a leading FinTech in Africa, Head of Innovation at SBM Bank (Kenya) Ltd and Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche East Africa.
Lilian is passionate about helping small and micro businesses be more effective and therefore serves as a business coach and innovation expert for the region. She has worked with Allan Grey Entrepreneurship Challenge, Pivot East Challenge and StartUp Africa.
